An exciting opportunity to work within the Project Management team at Avison Young in Boston. This role will be responsible for providing maintenance, repairs, and replacements on a wide variety of commercial heating and air conditioning systems according to company standards providing the customer with a high-quality experience including but not limited to Chillers, VAVs, RTU’s, VRV-VRF systems, Water-Source, Self-Contained & Split Systems, Pumps, plate heat exchangers, CRAC Units, Gas Furnace and associated equipment.
The Senior Property Administrator reports to the Assistant Property Manager and Director, Property Management. The Senior Property Administrator provides the Assistant Property Manager & Director, Property Management with administrative and building operations support, as directed. The Senior Property Administrator is responsible for keeping the Assistant Property Manager & Director, Property Management always informed, seeking guidance and direction as appropriate.
The base salary is aligned with market data and is estimated between $42,000 to $60,000 with the ability to achieve additional compensation through bonus. This salary range reflects base compensation for the position across all US locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and other factors including relevant education/training, experience, and internal equity.
The Property Manager reports to the Senior Property Manager, General Manager or directly to the Regional Managing Director and is responsible for the overall management and maintenance for an assigned portfolio. The Property Manager is responsible for all financial aspects of the portfolio.
The Assistant Property Manager reports to the Property Manager. The Assistant Property Manager provides the Property Manager with administrative and building operations support, as directed. The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for keeping the Property Manager always informed, seeking guidance and direction as appropriate.
Basic requirements and key functional responsibilities of the Assistant Property Manager include, but are not limited to the following:
- Strong aptitude for numbers including strong knowledge of accounting procedures, account reconciliation and ability to interpret financial data
- Being detail-oriented; can work under pressure; meet deadlines; prioritize tasks and deliver timely and accurate results
- Excellent customer and tenant service orientation
- Ensuring that our tenants are 100% satisfied with our services is one of the key priorities, so having strong relationship building and problem-solving skills is a must
- Assist with the implementation of new programs, and ensuring policies and procedures are followed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook together with other property management software applications such as Yardi
- Proven organizational and multi-tasking skills, combined with strong communication skills both written, and oral are keys to success
- Self-motivated, professional, and flexible with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Responsible for ensuring that assets are presented and operated according to the best possible standards alongside the Property Manager
- To achieve success, Assistant Property Manager should not only be focused on the day-to-day operations of the property but on the long-term potential and profitability of the property
Avison Young is looking for an Accounting Manager to join our accounting department. The position will be responsible for managing the accounting and reporting for commercial buildings, overseeing the revenue reporting and lease accounting to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Experience using MRI/YARDI is required.
Responsible for pre-construction project management from pre-lease and planning phase through construction delivery. Responsible for the day-to-day contact with the client and for meeting project fiduciary and schedule requirements. Guide client through project by giving them the information to make informed, intelligent decisions. Work in collaboration with management staff, clients, owners, and vendors. Assist in the development of a high performing innovative Pre-Construction team. Works with Client Relations, Workplace Strategy, FF&E, Design, and Project Delivery to ensure projects meet their sales, revenue, and GP targets.

The Project Superintendent - Plans, coordinates, and supervises field operations of tenant improvement projects in downtown Boston and the suburban market. Provides technical direction and is responsible for safety, costs, productivity, profitability, and overall quality of the work. Schedules labor, materials, and equipment, including work of subcontractors for various tenant improvement projects Mass builders license and OSHA training required.
Located in our Austin office and reporting to the Managing Director and Operations Manager, this role includes daily real estate administrative support in a fast-paced environment. As a Client Services Coordinator (“CSC”), you will provide sales, marketing, and research support along with general office administration to our brokers and clients. Your responsibilities will be an exciting mix of providing presentation support, listing and offer preparation, property marketing and client reporting, conducting market research and transaction administration, all while coordinating promotional and post sales marketing materials (under the direction of our marketing team).
The ideal candidate will have either a minimum of three years’ experience in the real estate industry and/or a diploma/degree relevant to real estate. This role is suited for someone who is passionate about real estate and whose preference is to have a successful real estate career in an administrative capacity.

The candidate will supervise the Engineering staff, complete preventative maintenance, work orders and inspections as required under the direction of the Property Management Office. We are looking for candidate who can lead by example
and work independently in a fast-paced environment on complex systems covering multiple assets.
The Proposal Manager manages, oversees, and writes responses for key new business proposals and presentations. The ideal candidate works with key business leaders and subject matter experts to develop high-level, targeted pursuit deliverables that address client’s unique issues, communicates integrated real estate solutions, and strongly differentiates Avison Young from our competitors; in turn, improves overall win rates. The Proposal Manager also collaborates with design and marketing resources to elevate the work product, and produce creative, visually impactful and compelling final work product.
The ideal candidate has experience in developing, responding and project managing multi-services RFx responses, working across multiple markets and regions to produce technically complex proposals and presentations. Experience in commercial real estate is also a plus.
Assist Project Managers so that they can efficiently manage multiple projects. Provide project support from design through completion of construction, including project organization. Interact with all project team members as necessary to perform duties and to keep all parties informed and project information organized. Independently lead aspects of the projects including meetings, minutes, cost control, furniture, move, IT/AV, etc. Assist with Project close out.
The Property Administrator reports to the Property Manager, Senior Property Manager or General Manager and provides a variety of clerical and administrative support services to the Property Management Team. The individual in this position works closely under the direction of the Property Manager, Senior Property Manager or General Manager and the duties and responsibilities may include assisting with budgeting, financial reporting, billing rent, collecting rent, accounts payable, vendor services, and maintaining files.
The base salary is aligned with market data and is estimated between $53,000 to $65,000 with the ability to achieve additional compensation through bonus. This salary range reflects base compensation for the position across all US locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and other factors including relevant education/training, experience, and internal equity.
