Overview

Avison Young’s United States Investment Sales Group is looking for a part-time intern that is intelligent, motivated and determined who exhibits an interest in commercial real estate and emerging AI technologies. If you would like to gain valuable experience while providing support to our US Investment Sales team, please consider this exciting opportunity. The candidate will be responsible for the following tasks outlined below.

Responsibilities

  • Support the U.S. Investment Sales team with day-to-day analytical and operational tasks
  • Perform a US Investor Meeting audit to ensure accurate tracking of investor profiles and acquisition criteria in AY’s internal databases, including its AI-enabled investor platform   
  • Maintain and update internal databases and tracking tools
  • Provide ad hoc Broker Opinion of Value and Offering Memorandum support in connection with active investment sales assignments
  • Collect and analyze market and property-level data to support pitch materials and ongoing initiatives
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated desire to work in the Commercial Real Estate
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with, and interest in, AI and emerging technologies
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
  • Must be an outgoing self-starter
  • Strong knowledge of PC, Windows, Internet Applications and Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work 30 hours per week
