Overview

We are seeking an HR Analyst to join our dynamic and energetic Human Resources team. At Avison Young, you will be the go-to person in ensuring accurate data are reported on all our people – from titles, hire dates, pay rates, to benefits elections, attrition rates, and more.  As a company committed to a culture where we’re “powered by people,” it takes a serious and dedicated person to ensure that our people’s data are “right”.

 

The base salary is aligned with market data and is estimated between $68,000 to $78,000 with the ability to achieve additional compensation through bonus. This salary range reflects base compensation for the position across all US locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and other factors including relevant education/training, experience, and internal equity.

Responsibilities

  • Create, manipulate, maintain and analyze reports and dashboards for various internal clients, maintain file feeds for vendors and internal processes; Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint required
  • Synthesizes, maintains and/or integrates analysis of data or information to discover facts or develop knowledge or interpretations; modifies policies, procedures, or methodologies based on findings.
  • Monthly, quarterly and annual business metrics reporting in partnership with Finance, Analytics and multiple external vendors
  • Assist with various HR initiatives as assigned including data transfers to and from various vendors for systems upgrade, integration and implementations; Timely uploads of file feeds for various vendors.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including eligibility and enrollment rules, and benefit procedures in order to ensure correct implementation
  • Use advanced calculation to formulate metrics, produce reports and develop recommendations
  • Develop and maintain end-user documentation and training for a variety of audiences as necessary
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous exposure to project-related activities through active participation in system-related projects
  • Complete annual federal and state required reporting
  • Complete annual benefits audits, including 401K

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • HRIS (ADP) and reporting software experience.
  • Experience altering variables and criteria in queries to generate reports.
  • Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to completion.
  • Flexibility and the ability to respond quickly to shifting company and team objectives.
  • Dedication to maintaining strict confidentiality with respect to highly sensitive information.
  • HR certification is preferred
