Overview

Our New York City brokerage team is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join its fast-paced environment. This individual must be highly motivated with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to proofread and adhere to AP style standards, aligned with Avison Young’s branding guidelines. A strong focus on project ownership and management are critical.

 

The Marketing Coordinator will also support online marketing efforts and new technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, the ability to multi-task, and contribute to the creation of service line collateral and other general marketing projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist brokers with the implementation of property marketing strategies
  • Work closely with brokers and corporate PR to promote the team and deals in press and on social media
  • Create, organize, schedule and execute digital marketing strategies such as property eblasts
  • Work with brokers, designers, and other Avison Young team members to develop marketing materials, Requests for Proposal (RFP) responses, and presentations, including e-blasts, flyers, maps, reports, floor plans, and other deliverables
  • Assist with web listing updates and other web-based property and team marketing initiatives
  • Maintain brand consistency in line with global corporate standards
  • Update contacts and internal CRM database as needed
  • Track ongoing marketing initiatives
  • Prepare marketing budgets and monitor related expenses for assignments
  • Coordinate on-site events for clients and the brokerage community, execute marketing campaigns, create invitations, and manage RSVP lists
  • Perform other special projects and reasonable duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and perform well under pressure
  • Excellent communication, writing, grammar, and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects
  • Adobe Creative Suite proficiency is a plus
  • Prior relevant experience is preferred
