Overview

An exciting opportunity to work within the Project Management team at Avison Young in Boston. The successful candidate must possess strong administration and task management skills, exhibit excellent organizational skills, demonstrate an eye for detail, and must thrive in a fast-pace, team environment. The responsibilities listed below are representative but not limited to the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with admins and lab / team managers to discuss/guide them through logistics and the details of their moves.
  • Update equipment matrix, confirm all MEP information
  • Update move matrix, fill in customer information, technical requirements.
  • Review final placement of lab equipment, create to / from logistic plan for relocation
  • Review furniture layout, determine location for files and storage.
  • Coordinate all equipment vendors, creating detailed daily activities schedule (pre and post move)
  • Oversee delivery of crates, move labels, & deliver move instructions.
  • Act as liaison between teams and the move vendors, communicate any last-minute seating updates.
  • Schedule movers, equipment vendors and alert security, provide all names for badging.
  • Schedule disconnects and reconnects of lab equipment, computer, servers, printer, and phones.
  • Operate check-outs, check-ins, manage all locations, making sure all clients are where they are supposed to be.
  • On site for all vendors and customers during move. Review completed move and make adjustments with vendor.
  • Oversee post move issues, work with client through resolution
  • Any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned

Qualifications

  • Relocation Coordinators for Life Science Sector.
  • Needs to have experience in orchestrating moving of lab equipment and supporting spaces.
  • Needs to have comfort level working in and around active lab environments
